OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
AND SAFETY,- CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1945.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in regular session in the office of the Board Friday,
October 12th, 1945 at 9:00 A.M. Messrs . Earl Keisker, S. W. Hodgin,
and Winfield Urban being present the following proceedings were had

to wit : -
The minutes of the preceding meetings were read and approved.
The Secretary was instructed to place a copy of Application for
Moving Building, as mentioned in minutes of October 9th, in the record.
A letter was received from Mrs . Julius Feinberg, 805 South Tenth
Street asking for the installation of a light on South G Street be-
tween Fifth and Seventh for the reason that high school students
living in the southern part of the city use this street at night to
go to the athletic events at the High School. This matter was referred
to the City Engineer.
Mr. Gath P. Freeman, President of the Leland "Hotel Corporation,
appeared before the Board asking that the "No Parking Ordinance" be
enforced relative to a stretch along the curbing 94 feet north from
the line of the north curb of South A Street at South Ninth and,
South A Street east on the north side thereof 83 feet from the line
of east curb of South Ninth Street at South A. This matter was re-
ferred to the Traffic Division.
After allowing claims in the amount of 018,651.82 , upon
proper motion, the Board adjourned.
