HomeMy Public PortalAbout10-09-1945 - Special Meeting 4-3 OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY, CITY OF. RICHMOND, INDIANA. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9, 1945. A special meeting of the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana was held in the office of said Board at 4:00 P.M. , October 9, 1945. Messrs . Earl Keisker, S. W. Hodgin, and Winfield Urban being present, the following proceedings were had to wit: - The City approved Application for Moving Building, dated October 6th, 1945 which was filed with the Board of Works, bearing the signature of Stanley C. Smith, the Building Inspector, approv- ing the same . Stanley C . Smith was also present at _the .meetin as was John McCurdy. The said building is located on the southeast corner of Fifth and West Main Street. Mr. Urban moved that the permit to move the property from its present location to its new location as set forth in the application be granted subject to the filing of a bond with surety to the satis- faction of the Board, which bond shall be in terms and such amount as said Board may prescribe, the bond to be in the sum of One Thousand Dollars . All of the foregoing further subject to the adoption by the Common Council of the City of Richmond of Ordinance No. 1299, 1945. The motion was seconded by S. W. Hodgin and so ordered.
