HomeMy Public PortalAbout08-17-1945 31 OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY, CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA FRIDAY, AUGUST 17, 1945 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in regular session in the office of said Board on Friday, August 17, 1945, at 9:00 o' clock A. M. Messrs. Earl Keisker, S. W. Hodgin and Winfield Urban being present, the following proceedings were had to-wit: The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved:. Chief of Police Ellis Duckett recommended as follows : "I, recommend that the following men be appointed to the Police Department as of September 1, 1945 and placed on probation for six months at the salary of $185.00 per month." "These men have passed an adaptability examination given by the Police Department and a medical examination given by the Police Pension Examiner. Joseph E. White 323 North 21st Street Carl E. Berner 11 1/2 North 7th Street ." This recommendation was approved by the Board. A plat of Gardner' s Hillcrest Subdivision was submitted by the Board for acceptance and approval. It was moved and seconded and so ordered. After allowing claims in the amount f $ ,62-9 8'71'y upon proper motion the Board adjourned. earl Keisker, esident Attest: - Secretary
