OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
AND SAFETY, CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
FRIDAY, AUGUST 10, 1945
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of
Richmond, Indiana met in regular session in the office of said
Board on Friday, August 10, 1945 at 9:00 o' clock A . M.
Messrs . Earl Keisker, S. W. Hodgin and Winfield Urban being

present, the following proceedings were had to-wit:
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved
after minor amendments .
Subject to the approval of the Common Council, the Board
approved the request of the Wayne County Victory Fund to place
posters at various points throughout the City advertising their
campaign set for October, 17th to 24th. The posters are to be
placed upon the light posts along Main Street from 4th to 12th
Street, and upon posts near the various factories .

The City Clerk was authorized -to/bids on the following
maintenance material to be used at the Sewage Disposal Plant in
compliance with a request from Ed Ross, Superintendent:
824 feet of chain for primary collectors with
attachments for flights every 10 feet and special
hinged attachments at center and on the end of
each strand. To be in four match strands to fit
Link Belt Sprockets--2 g inches P. D. 12T.
and
30 feet of Drive Chain all coupling pins with cotters
to fit S . S. 88 Link Belt Chain Drives .
After allowing claims in the amount of $.3 F 15. g-O upon
proper motion the Board adjourned.
