CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
FRIDAY, JULY 6th, 1945
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
of Richmond, Indiana met in the office of said Board Friday,
July 6th, 1945 at 9:00 o e clock A. M. ®- Messrs . Earl Keisker,
ri S. W. Hodgin and Winfi.eld :Urban being present, the following
proceedings were had to-wit:
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and

• Mr. Duckett reported that he had no flux ht n aten

had authorized to be purchased for the Police Department . a7/ 4"/'
Mr. McDonald reported that the priority had been
granted for bwo receivers, one to be used by the Fire Department
'anci the otYier�by t�iejPoli�e Depa-rtment. The heads of these
• departments were authorized to make out purchase orders for this
equipment. The Board also authorized Mr. McDonald to secure
proposals , regarding the cost of painting the radio station.
Ed Ross, Superintendent of the Sewage Disposal Plant was •
authorized to contact Mr. iallar to see what terms could be
arranged for the purchase sM the Sewage Disposal Plant of
the International truck whi h is being used on a trade-in by
the Street Department. He is to report at the following meeting
of the 'Board.
The complaint of Councilman Mar'= that the, spring
in the back part of Glen Miller Park was in a wet and muddy
condition was brought to the attention of the Board. • The ,,
Superintendent of the Park, Richard E. Posther, was instructed
to see what could be done to remedy the situation.
After allowing claims in the amo t of $13,330.08, upon
proper motion the Board -adjourned.
