M. -- Messrs. Earl Keisker, S, W, Hodgin and Winfield.Urban being present the following proceedings were had to-wit; meeting The minutes of the preceding were read and approved. • The Board approved the cutting of a tree in front of the property located at 200 South 7th Street. fir.: Don Bell appeared before the Board in the interest of increasing the amount of insurance on the Police Radio Station since new equipment has been added and repairs have been made to the building after the fire, • the same being referred to Police_Chief Duckett, Fire Chief,Harry Williams and City Controller, Urban for recommendation. The Board instructed the Clerk to make proper advertising giving notice to bidders that proposals will be received for a stoker for the use of *he Street Department Garage, designating Friday, June gth, 1945 at 9:30 A. M. as the time for the receiving proposals for the installation ,of the same. • In accordance with a .petition presented to the Board by the Kenosha Auto Transport Corporation 6nrecommend.a.tion of City Engineer Hodgin the Board adopted the following Declaratory Resolution No. 2-19I+5. Resolved; By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond • in the State of Indian, that it is desired and deemed necessary to vacate the alley between North 17th & lgth Street , running from North G. Street Southward to the Alley running Eastwardly & Westwardly , first alley North of F 'Street in the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, which alley proposed to be vacated is moore particularly described as follows; Beginning on the South Line of North G. Street at the ,Northwest Corner • of Lot No. (50a the Highland Addition: thence Southwardly along the West Line of said alley to the Southeast Corner of Lot No. 53 , said point being the North Line of an alley running Fastw4rdly & Westwardly; thence Eastwardly along the North Line of said Alley to the Southeast Corner of Lot No. (3004 thence Northwardly along the East Line of said Alley to the Northwest Corner of Lot No. (33) : said point being the South Line of North G Street; thence Westwardly along the South Line of North G. Street to the Northeast Corner of Lot No. (50) , said point being the Place of beginning. The City of Richmond , Indiana, reserves the right to maintain the present - Sewer now located in said alley to be vacated. On the recommendation of City Engineer Hodgin the Board approved the installation of a drain tile from the Home Telephone property located between Lincoln & Randolpd Street across West First Street and City property to the river bank, the same to be installed at petitioner's expense.- - After allowing claims in the amount of $?9 g t 6 on prop . motion the Board. adjourned.
