CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA,
MAY 4TH, 1945.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Rlchmond,
Indiana, met in the office od said Board Friday, May 4+th; 194+5 at
9:00 o'clock A. M. --- Messrs. Earl Keisker, S. W. Hodgin and
Winfield Urban being present the following proceedings were had to-
wit;
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Edwin Ross , Superintendent of the Disposal Plant reported to
the Board that the Crosley Plant had cut all their sewer lines into
the sanitary sewers end a, report would be made later as to results.
The Board discussed the matter of' obtaining bids on coal fom the
comming. fireing season also the amount and quality of coal which could
be used in the various heating plants and City Engineer Hodgin was
appointed to obtain such information as is necessary and report to the
Board.
A letter was presented to the Board from the officials of the St.
Paul's Lutheran Church requesting that a No Parking area be established
in front of the church entrance . The matter was referred to the Traffic D
Division and on the recommendation of the said division the Board approved
the request and instructed the Street Superintendent to have the curb
painted yellow designating the same.
After allowing claims in the amount of $6,196.18 on proper motion
the Board adjourned.
