CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FEBRUARY 2nd, 1945
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office of said Board, Friday, February 2nd,1945
at 9:00 A. M. ----Messrs. Earl Keisker, S. W. Hodgin & Winfield Urban
being present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
On the recommendation of Fire Chief Williams the Board approved 11/
the resignation of William Toney from the Fire DEpartment due to dis-
ability effective January 31,1945.
On the recommendation of Fire Chief Harry Williams the Board
approve& the permanent appointment of Melvin F. Parr as City Fireman
he having served his probationary period providing he pass physical
requirements, effective February 1, 1945.
• On the recommendation of Police Chief Duckett the Board approved
the temporary appointment John Lantz as a civilian employee at the
Police Radio Station.
After allowing claims in the amount of $3, 416.00 on proper
motion the Board adjourned.
