CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, - JANUARY 5th, 194 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond > Indiana, met in the office of said7Board Friday, January 5th, 191i, at 9000 o'clock A. M. --Messrs. Earl Keisker, . S. W. Hodgin & Winfield Urban being present the following proceedings were had to-wit; 11r - The minutes of the preceding meetings were read and approved. The Board approved the following resolution,that the Common Council of the City of, Richmond, Indiana, be requested to pass a resolution authorizing the Judge of the. Wayne Circuit Court of Wayne:County Indiana to appoint three appraisers for the purpose of appraising. two cars used by the Police Department and two trucks used by the Street Department with a vie w of selling the same. The Board also instructed the Clerk to make proper advertising giving notice to .bidders:_thats:ealed proposals will be received January 26. 1945 at 9:30 o'clock A. M. at its office in the City Buiding, , for two light weight coach automobiles complete , with heaters, seat covers , heavy duty generators with a tradein allowances for two Chevrolet Coaches known as No.25 & 30. Also for two new three-wheel motorcycles complete with heavy duty generators siren, red light, right hand gear shift, reverse gears, ride control choke, weather shield shielded for 'radio equipment. One new ambalance large enough to accomtdate two or three injured persons fully equipped with heater , red light , siren, ambulance cots, first aid equipment & flood light., with a tradein allowance for one 1933 Nash ambulance. Four 1 Ton Trucks fully equipped. with closed cabs with a tradein allowance for two 1� ton trucks models A2 & AW2 International make with underbody hoist used by the Street Department and known as No. 5 & No. S with useable tires. One ton truck for the use of the Park Department . A report was presented to the Board which stated the motor had been repaired which operated the stocker in the City Building but was not in sufficient condition to last and the Board authorized the Building In-spector to place:iordern€ar' newmotor or rebuilt motor as an emergemcy ihntil new motor can be obtained.
