CITY OF 'RICHMOI'D, INDIANA,
JANUARY 2nd, 1946
The Board of Public Works and S .fety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office of said Board Tuesday, January 2nd, 1944,
at 10:00 ooclock A. M. in S-pecial Session Messrs. Earl Keisker, S. W.
Hodgin & Winfield Urban being present the following proceedings were .
had to-wit;
The reading of the minutssof the preceding meeting was dispensed
with. t
Mr. Winfield.Urban stated due to the fact that Mr. Keisker had
been a member of the Board for some, time and had not acted as Chairman
for any one year he wished to resign as Chairman having been elected
at the last regular meeting Saturday December 30th 19449 and place
the name of Earl Keisker in nomination as Chairman of the Board of
Public Works and Safety for the en-suing year.
Mr. Hodgins moved that the resignation of Mr. Winfield Urban be
accepted and that the Clerk be instructed to cast the unanimous vote
of the Board for Mr. Keisker as Chairman of the Board of Public Works
and Safety, for the en-suing year 1945.
The Board discissed the matter of repairing the building at the
Police Radio Station and replacing the equippment which had been destroyed
by fire and Mr. Hodgin moved that the Building Inspector be authorized
to proceed with the repairs of the building and the Clerk give proper notice
in the matter of advertising to bidders for the repalcement of Equipment at
the Police Radio Station. With a seeond by Urban th motion was unanimously
approved and the Board designated Friday, January 9th, 1944 at 9:30 A. M.
as the time for the receiving of bids for the said equipment.
There being no ether business to perform on proper motion the Board
adjourned.
