OF RICHMOND,INDIANA, FRIDAY, DECESER 22, 1944 0 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board, Friday , Decepber 22nd, 1944, at 9:00 o°clock A. M. -- Messrs. Winfield Urban, Carl Keisker and S. W. Hodgin being present the following proceedings were had to-wit; The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved. On the recommendation of Fire Chief Harry Williams the Board terminated the leave of absence of Charles Bostick from the Fire Department heshving been in the armed services of the U. S. Govern- ment and placed bin on active duty in the same said department as Captain on the Aire1 Truck, effective January 1, 1944. The Board also approved the permanent appointment of William Toney in ra_ak of Lieutenant on thy Fire Dtpartment9 effective as of Jan- Tier 1, 1944. On the recommendation of the Mayor, the Board approved the equal distribution of commissions from the bonds and insurance handled for the City of Richmond by the RichmondFire & Casualty Insurance Association units as follows; Jesse Bailey Lowell King L.
