The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Ind
Indiana, met in the office of said Board , Friday, September 1st, 1944,
at 9°00 o'clock A. M. --- Messrs. Winfield Urban, Earl Keisker and S. W.
Hodgin being present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
On the recommendation. of the Building Inspector the Board recommended
that proposals be received from at least three contractors on the repair
of the rear of the City Building on regular form.
In the matter of repairs to the sidewalk in front of the Property
owned by Robert H. Davierson 15 Southwest 2nd Street on the recommendation
of City Engineer. Hodgin the 7?oerd approved the' repair be made by the Street
Department provide the material be furnished by the property owner.
The matter of the sidal.mlk being used for the display of vegitabl.es •
& etc along the various sidewalks in front of fruit stores and groceries
was referred to the City Attorney for recommendation.
