M. -- Messrs. Winfield Urban, Earl Keisker and S. W. Hodgin 'being present the following proceedings were had to-wit: - The minutes of the Preceding meeting were read and approved. Mr. Edwin Ross reported to the Board that it would be necessary to employ:x7'WWo men to take the place of two men who were leaving soon. Mr. Harry Williams reported it would be necessary to empldy.,tiio-men f6r the 'Fife-Departmentoby `thetFirst of September , 1944 to fill vacancies . which will exist at that time. • Thefol1Owilg letter. was presented-toe Board; Gentlemen; After several visits to the Government Doctors I am led to believe that it is necessary that I should submit to you my res- ignation as a temporary fireman. I would like the resignation to take effect as of August 14th, 1944. Signed John F. Watkins; On the recommendation of Fire Chief Harry Williams the .Board. approved the resignation of John F.
