FRIDAY , JULY 21st, 1944.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in the office of said Board, Friday July 21st, 1944, at 9t00 o'clock
A. M. Messrs.---Winfield Urban, Earl Keisker & S. W. Hodgin being present
the following proceedings were had to-grit;
The minutes of; the preceding meeting were read and approved„
A request to widen the:driveway- from 11 feet to a width of 15 feet
by cutting the c+irb was granted to Ralph Dare located at 17 South 6th -.
Streets t .
' A reouest to remove the traffic light from 16th & Main Street and in-
stall the same at jrd & Main Streets was referred to the Traffic Division;
On the recommendation of City Engineer Hodgih the Board approved the repairs
to the sewer serving the Wayne Works Corp.alairg the vacated portion of North
16th Street.
On the, recommendation of City Attorney Keisker the Board approved arEfc� �lof
year dontract with the Packer Advertising Co. for a space for a Bid Bill
Board located on City Property South of the West entrance to the Doran Bridge.
After allowing claims in the amount of. $2,155.93 on proper motion the
Board adjourned.
