AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF MAIN STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF IONA, IDAHO; PARTICULARLY DESCRIBING THE PORTION OF SAID STREET; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER ON BEHALF OF THE CITY A QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING THE VACA 1'ED STREET TO THE OWNERS OF THE ADJACENT LAND, AND NAMING THEM; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF IONA, IDAHO THAT: Section 1. A portion of Main Street lying wholly within the City of Iona, Bonneville County, Idaho, is not needed for use as a public street. The portion of such street is particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 4, Block 15 of the Official Plat of the Village of Iona and Denning Addition, Bonneville County, Idaho; running thence S. 85° 44111"W. 15.00 feet; thence N. 00°07'12"W. 151.28 feet; thence N. 87°20' 10"E. 14.98 feet to the Westerly boundary of said Lot 4; thence S.00°07' 12"E. 150.86 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Section 2. The above -described portion of Main Street described in Section 1 is hereby vacated in favor of the adjacent landowner named in Section 3 of this Ordinance, pursuant to the provisions of Idaho Code Section 50-311, as amended. Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and deliver a Quitclaim Deed conveying the portion of vacated street described in Section 1 hereof to the following: Bill J. West and Donna West P. O. Box 627 Iona, Idaho 83427 Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, execution and publication in the manner provided by law. WEST and DONNA WEST, husband and wife, whose mailing address is P. O.
