OFFICE OF THE -BOARD OF VWORKS
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FRIDAY , JUNE, 16th, 1944
The Board of Public Works and Safety-of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met 'in the office of said Board , Friday , June 16th ',1944
' at 9100 o'clock A. M. -- Messrs. Winfield Urban, Earl Keisker and. . .
S. W. Hodgin being present the following proceedings were had to-wit; '
• the minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and-approved.
Mr. Don Bell appeared before the Board in the matter of discussing-
the reappraisement of City property cover ,by insurance with the Richmond
Casualty Association„, the same being taken under further advisement. .
On the recommendation of Park Superintendent-Frisby the Board approved
the the cutting of a tree in front of the property owned by Mrs Walter
Aydelotte located at g19 South gth St. •
•
On the recommendation of City Engineer Hodgin the Board aprnved the
cutting of' the Curb by the Wick Auto sales Co. to a width of 14ft lot
21 C. M. Gerguson Addition South Lath St.
The following estimates were presented to the Board for washing the
walls and painting the same;
presented.

Washing the wall in the Board of Works Room & the Office of the City
Clerk - $3 .00
George Dixon Works
Washing the walls in the Board. of 'Room, City Clerk, Engineer's work
room and office, Council Chamber Office of the Civilian Defense and the Hall
up stairs the. Total sum of $145.00

Sam Narotski .
Washing & painting the walls and ceiling in office of City Clerk
•
& Board of Works the sum of '325.00
Washing and painting the Council Chamber two coats -- $425.00
. Washing & painting the ceiling and walls in the hall ways both up and
down stairs $475.0O -
Thn following estimates were presented to the Board for. repairs at the
Police Radio Station; .
Frank .M. -Fowler
Repairs according to specification by the Board - the sum of $125.00
Arthur Thomas & Sons

Repairs to Police Radio Station according to specifications the sum'
of $115.00.
TheThetVarieUamestimtes were referre.d-_;tothe Building Inspector & City
Engineer for tabulationi and after due consideration they recommended that
the 'walls 'be washed by Homer Wiggins and the repairs be made by Arthur Thomas
• & Sons at the Police radio Station in accordance with. specifications.
