OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF WORKS
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
FRIDAY, JUNE 9TH, 1944
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office of said Board, Friday, June 9th, 19W4,
at 9:00 o'clock A. M. --Messrs. Earl Keisker and S. W. Hodgin being
- present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceding meeting were raea and approved.
On the recommendation of Street Commissioner Meyers ::theaoaid
ordered the proper publication be had giving notice to bidders that
. sealed proposals will be received for the furnishing of a material
spreader for the use. of the Street Department on June 23, 1944 ,
at 9:30 o'clock A. M:
Friday , June 9th , 1944. , being the date designated by the Board
as the time for the fixing of benefits and damages in the vacation of
a portion of South P Street beginningia'tt:the Bas.tcILitee-ofSouth gth
Stteetto the West Line of Right of Way of C& 0 Rail Road. Also a portion
of the Alley between South.gth & 9th`Street=from the South line of South
P. Street to the South property line of Lots Nos. 53 & 110 Bealview Add.
And there being no benefits or damages fixed by the Board as the petitioner
• agreed to pay all cost in the said vacation which included' advertising and
recording the same in the sum of
After allowing claims in the amount of $ 327Ag on proper
motion. the Board adjourned. — -M
On the recommendation of the ParkdSuperintendent, Frisby the Board
approved the cutting, of a tree located in front of the property located
at 1310 1Tortk A Street,
