The Board. of Public Works .an.d Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in the office of said Board, Monday: , June 5th, 1944, at 9:00 o'clock
A. M. .-- Messrs. Winfield Urban, Earl. Keiskir and S. W._ Hodgin being present
the follo.ing proceedings were had to-wit; .
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved. -

On the recommendation of Fire Chief Harry Williams, the Board approved
the. employment of Charles Hart & Clayton Jones to serve on the Fire Depart- -
ment during th,:vacht on ne iodrof..the regular fireman for the sum of
$125.00 per month , .theoBoard also approved the employment of Harold Tracy
at No. 2 Hose House to work as a fireman through the vacation period for the
sum of $30.00 per week.
OivAhe recommendation of Park Superintendent Frisby the Board approved
the cutting of a tree in front of the property owned by Lowel Harter No.
136 .South 3rd Street, the Clerk was instructed to
to notify the same.
After allowing claims in the amount of $ 6� E)6 9,/7 on proper motion
the Board adjourned..
