CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FRIDAY, MAY P6TH, .1944.
The Board. of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the.office of said Board , Friday, May 26th, 1944, .
11/ at 9:00 o'clock A. M. --Messrs. Winfield Urban & S. W. Hodgin being
present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
A request to cut the curb was granted A. Z. Jenkins lots 116-117
C. W. Starr Addition on North gth Street between North A & B Streets to
a widthof 30 feet.
On the recommendation of Park Superintendent Frisby the Board
approved the cutting of a tree located at 204 North '/9th Street by a
Mrs. (Gann,
. Friday May 26th, 1944 , being the date deesignated by the Board
for the presenting of remonstrances or objections against the vacation
of a portion of South P Street from South gth Street to the C & 0 R. R.
and an alley between South gth & 9th Street from P Street to South Q
Street , proper publication having been made and there being no obejection
or remonstarnee filed the Board unanimously confirmed the adoption of
Declaratory Resolution No 4-1944, declaring said portion of Street & Alley
vacated , the petitioner agreeing to pay all cost incurred in the said
action by the Board.
The Board designated J}ine 9th ,1944 , at 9:00 o'clock A. M. as
the time when benefits and damages will be fixed by the Board at which
time remonstrance might be filed or objections offered.
The Board designated Monday June 5th as the date for the, next
regular meeting as two members of the Board willbe out of the City on
Friday 2nd, 19114 , the regular-Meeting date.
After allowing claims in the amount of $ 12,96g.Og on proper
motion the Board adjourned.
