The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, In.r.iia.na, met in the office of said Board, Friday, March 6th, 1944: at ?;30 "" o1clobk P. M. (In Special Session) "-- Messrs. Winfield Urban Earl Keisker and S. W. Hodgin being present the following proceedings were had to-wit; The reading of the minatetsoftherpreceding,,meeting were dispensed with; except pottions of various meeting which showed that bids had been asked for two trucks for the use of the Street Department and there being no bids presented , the Board then ordered the Street Superintendent to locate two trucks if possible and report finding to the Board the same being as follows; ALLIED TRUCK EQUIPMrNT CO. INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA. 1- 1942 Ford 134" wheelbase, S-cylinder,100 H. P. Serial No. 1S-6892107 l.. 1942 Ford 134" wheelbase 6-cylinder 90 H. P. Motor Serial No. 2-Gt-115471. Both equipped with 7.00/20 -10-ply tires. (2) 2 yard 6° x SS Marion Dump Bodies and 7" Hoist. Mounted at Indianapolis, Indiana. Price quoted with the understanding that tax exemption certificate must be furnished or Federal Excise Tax Added. Total Price complete $3,900.00 Mr. Keisker moved that the two trucks including the dump bodies equiped as specified be purchased from the Allied Truck Equipment Co. of Indianapolis," Indiana. for the use of the Street Department.
