CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FRIDAY MARCH 10TH, 1944
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office of said Board, Friday , March 10th, 1944
at 9:00 o°clock A. .M. Messrs. Winfield Urban, Earl Keisker and
S. W. Hodgin being present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceding.'meetings:a.*ere:readsand$approved.
The petition presented to the Common Council by. Councilman Frank
Marino at the regular meeting of Council on March 6th, 1944 , tigned
by a number of citicens living on Newman°s Hill requesting sufficient
improvement be made on the driveways so that tey can be used by cars
which would like to render service to that location and. the same having
been referred to tit Board for consideration was further referred to
the City Engineer;,& Street Department Superintendent for a report
later.
A request was presented to the Board from Councilman Kinder in
regard to the placing of cinders in an unmade alley between Peacock
Road and Richmond Avenue from Northwest 9th Street West, the Jame
being referred to the City Engineer and Street Commissioner for con-
sideration9 and recommendation. •
Aftet allowing claims in the amaunt of $1“.127+ ? ? on proper
motion the Board adjourned.
