The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, I Indiana, met in the office of said Board, Friday, March 3rd, 1944, at 9:00 o°clock A. M. --- Messrs. , Winfield Urban, Earl Keisker and S. W. Hodgin being present the following proceedings were had to-wit: The minutes of the preceding meeting were read-and approved. On the recommendation.of Edwin Ross Superintendent of the Disposal Plant the Board approved the purchase of a replacment pump for the sum of $56.00 from the Fairbanks Morris Co. , Indianapolis, Ind.al.so an arbor press for the sum of $47.50 for the purpose of repairing couplings ,from the Atlas Press Co, Kalamazoo, Michigan. The- following letter was presented to the Board from Edwin Ross Superintendent of the Sewer Disposal Plant which states , in order to cover repairs to hquipinent, which could not be forseen at the time the budget was made up and some of which even though covered by insurance , must be paid from these accounts in accordance with the wishes-of the Controller, the following additional funds are necessary: #109 repairs to equippment $250.00 , #118 Parts of Equipment::' $400.00. After due consideration the Board unanimously approved the additional expenditure in the Total amount of $650.00 an recommended that an ordinance bhe prepared and presented to the Common Council requesting the said app- ropriation be transferred from the General Fund of the City of Richmond to the accounts as requested. The matter of, changing the Sewer Inlet at the Northwest Corner of 6th and Main Street was referred to City Engineer Hodtin. On the recommendation of Fire Chief Harry Williams the Board app- roved the temporary appointment of Robert J. Andersorikas City Fireman bffective March 16th, 1944 , at a salary of $JR5, OT per month. Friday , March 3rd , 1944, at 9'30 A. M. being the time and the date designated by the Board for the hearing of and receiving any remonstrance against the vacation of an alley in accordance with Declaratory Resolution No. 2-1944, bycRobert & Wanenda Long , adopted by the Board February 18th, 1944, and there being no remonstrance filed against said vacation the Board unanimously confirmed the said Declaratory Resolution No. 2-19441 designating the date of March 17th, 1944 , at 9:30 A. M. as the time for the fixing of benefits and damages in accordance with said Resolution; Friday , March 3rd, 1944, at 9:30 A. M. being the time and the date designated by the Board for the hearing or receiving any remonstrance against the vacation of an alley in accordance with Declaratory Resolution No. 3-1944, by Clarence & Horace Kramer , adopted by the Board. February 18th, 1944, ad there being no remonstrance filed against said vacation , the Board unanimously confirmed the adoption of Declaratory Resolution No. 3, 1944, designating March 17th ,1944 at 9:30 A. M. as the time for the fixing of benefits and damages in accordance with the said Resolution. Lone .and Wawneda M. Long , husband and wife , hereby dedicate to the publicP.►or the purposes of an alley, the following described real estate in Wayne County Indiana, to-wit; Fifteen (15) feet in equal width off of the entire North end of lot seven (7) in Charles H. Selits Second Sub-Division of a part of the Southeast quarter of section 31 in township l4 in Range t1) West as shown by Plat Book 5 . page 125 of the records of Wayne County, Indiana, In Witness whereof, Robert F.
