CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA,
DECEMBER 24TH, 1943.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana , met in the office of said Board, Friday December 24th,
1943, at 9000 o'clock A. M. -- S. W. Hodgin, Earl Keiskerand Win-
field.Urban being present the following proceedings were had to-wit;

The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved,.
On the recommendation of the Committee appointed to tabulate
the bid for the Dirt Shredder for the use of the Park Department
the Board approved the purchase of the Dirt Shredder Model NSB-4
for the sum of $428.00 delivered to the City of Richmond order as
January 1st, 1941, sepcified with 110/220 volt phase ,60 cycle
motor with starting switch and 25ft. of extension cord.
Abid was presented to the Board from the Gilcrest Go. for One
onemhalf' tbri 1542 Dodge Panel body truck for the use Of the Fire.,
Department for the sum of $1,000.00 delivered subject to priorities
granted. The bid was referred to City Engineer Hodgin, Fire Chief
• Harry Williams and City Controller Winfield Urban for tabulation
and recommendation and after due consideration the Committee recommended
the truck be purchased from the Gilcrest Co. as specified dlivery MG of
January 1, 19419 subject to priorities granted.
After allowing claims in the amount of $14,450.21 on proper motion
the Board adjourned.
