The Board" of Public Works and ,afety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana,, met in the office of said-Board, Friday, August 13th,
19143, at 9:00 o'clock A. M. --S. W. Hodgin, Earl Keisker and
11/ Winfield Urban being present the following proceedings were had
to-wit:
The minutes of the preced.i.ng_teeting were read and approved.
Yiss Bernice Kehoe appeared before the Board requesting permission
to install a sign on the building at the rear entrance of the New location
of the Firestone Auto Supply & Service Store gOg Main Street, the matter
being referred to the building inspector.
The Board instructed the Clerk- to give proper notice to at'least
three bidders requesting proposals for the painting of the Police Radio
Building and the Police Radio Tower each "structure to have a seperate
bid. The Board designated August 27th , 1943, at 9:30 A. M. as the time
and the date for the receiving of bids for the same. -
Friday , August ljth , 1943 , being the date designated by the Board
for the receiving of bids for Coal for the various Departments of the City
are now as follows : -

awarded the contract for furnishing the Coal th the avri.ous departments
