FRIDAY, JULY 9th, 1943

The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office ofcsaid Board: , July 9th, 1943, at 9:00
o'clock A. M. --S. W. Hodgin, Earl esker and Winfield Urban being
present the following proceedings were had to—wit;
The minutes of the preceli.ng meeting were read and approved.
The matter of extra help during vacations at the Police Radio
station was referred to Chief of Police Ellis Duckett,
Street Commissioner Meyers gave a report en the various. streets
whI h had been treated and was now open to traffic.
A complaint was, presented to the Board by -Mrs;x Bennett Gordon
located at 105 South 20th Street in regard to the dirt and lea•res
on the sideN,*nik -a.djoi.ning the property located at South 20th and A
Streets, the Board instructed the Clerk to notify the property owners
to remove the dirt. & etc.from 'the sidewalk.
Edwin•.RoSs Superintendent r:f, the Disposal Plant recommended that
certain repairs be made on .'.hAbuilding;• at the Plant , and the Board
recommended that •an 'estimate be presented for the same.
After allowing claims in the amount of $ 13, 40,11 on proper
motion they adjourned.
