PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION
i
WHEREAS, Block 1002, lot 44 applied for tax deduction status
under the provisions for a disabled veteran status in
accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:4- 8.10et seq, and
WHEREAS, the then Tax Assessor reviewed and approved the
application for the 1999 tax year effective January 1, 1999,
and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that veteran
property tax deductions for 1999 -2016 be cancelled
accordingly, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the
Tax Collector cancel veteran property taxes for 1999 -2016 tax
years in the amount of $4,000.00
Adopted this 20"' day of July, 2017
And certified as a true copy of the
original on July 21, 2017.
