The Beard. of Public Works and safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office of said Board, Juno 1lth, 19)13, at 9°00
oaclock A. M. m® S. W. Hodgin, Forl. Keisker and Winfield Urba.r bejn.e
present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceding meeting were raed and approved.
Jesse Yost appeared before the Board. requesting a drive in
Morton Taken Addition running from 19th and North. J Streets. around.
to North 17th Street be graveled in order to have a. mail delivery
in th At section. The matter was referred. to City Engineer Hodni_n,
City Attorney Keisker and Street Commissioner Meyers.
Mr. H. R. Hartman appeared before the Board in regard to the
drainage on the rear of his lot located at 900 Peacock Road and
the alley and property adjoining. The mfi.tter being referred to
City Engineer Hodein. .

men to take the place of Harlan Brown who has entered the services of
the United States Army, he to serve the usual probati.ona^y period
of six months for the sum of $165.00 per month, effective June 16th,

'i. Perk Superintendent Frisby reported a tree located at North
15th Street A Streets was, dead and should be removed.
A ?petition was presented to the Board by citizens representing
the John Wesley Methodist Doctrine of Richmond for the privilege of
Pleetng a large tent in Beall.vi.ew Perk for two weeks for. the purpose of
conducting religious services eeeh evening, consent for such rrivileges

John H. Niewoshner Plumbing Co. as fol.leepe .resrecItively $2g! .50 and
$47 00. Mr. Hod,c-i.n recommended that the cracked sectiors of the boiler

1_ -oetition was presented to the Board. by-Gi.rtha Cosby located at
1.007 North 15th Street reouesting rermi.ssien to install a six inch sewer
from Let 37 Hogh Meffitss 2nd Ldd_iticn to the Man hole in the i.ntersepter
sewer on North 15th Street. After due consideration the Board unanimously ,
re,ieoted the request of Girth Cosby.
The Beard authorized City Attorney Keisker and City Controller
Trdlield Urban to attend the Municipal Finance Officers Association of
the United States &, Canada to be held at Pittsburgh,Pennsylvenie June
15, 1,6, & 1.7 , 1.943.
