CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FRIDAY, MAY 7th, 1943
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office of said Board, Friday, May 7th, 1943,
at 9:00 o'clock A. M. S. W. Hodgin, Earl Keisker and Winfield
Urban being- present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceding were read and approved.
A request to cut the curb to a widtof 12 feet was granted to
Roland Swisher Co. located on the North side of Elm Street Lots No.
32g & 329 Elizabeth Starr's addition.
On the recommendation of Fire Chief Harry Williams the Board
approved the appointment of James J. Jefferies as a regular Fireman
he having served the usual probationary period of six months at a
salary of $165.00 per month, effective May 16th, 1943.
After allowing claims in the amount off $14+, 542.96 on proper
motion they adjourned.
