The Board. of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office of said. Board. , Friday, Arr31 23rd, 1943,
at 9:00 o'clock A. M. Messrs. S. W. Hodgin, Ear1_ Keisker and Winfield
Urban being present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
A letter was ,,resented to he Borrd from Hugh R. Goss calling their
attention to the root of a. large tree Wh±chchave.tro an under the concrete
alley and cracked the same making the surface uneven the tree being located
in the rear of 731 West Main Street. The matter was referred to Park Sup-
erintendent Frisby and he recommended the tree be removed, which was unani-
. mously approved by the Board and the Clerk was instructed to notify the
property owner to remove the same.
After allowing claims in the amount of $ / 9. 5A ‘i) on proper motion
the Board adjourned.
