FRIDAY, APRIL 16th, 1943
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office Pf said Board, Friday , April 16th, 1943,
at 9:00 o'clock A. M. S. W. Hodgin and Winfield Urban being present
the following proceedings were had to-wit;=
- The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
City Engineer Hodgin recommended that nog•trash bin be installed
at South 10th Street and Parkway as requested , the Bo rd';aaproved:-the,'•,
recommendation of Mr. Hodgin,
A report was presented to the Board in regard to the accumulation
of dirt on the sidewalk on front of the property at the Southeast corner
of North 16th and E Streets and the Clerk was instructed to notify the
property owner to remove the same.
The matter of a report of dead trees on the East side of South
jrd Street in front of lots No. 164 & 165 and same having been referred
to Park Superintendent Frisby, who recommends that they are in a dangerous
state and should be removed. The Board approved the recommendation of Mr
Frisby and instructed the Clerk to notify the owners of the property to
;�;,;remove the.same.
A reques-rwas presented to the Board for a no parking zone to be
established in the rear of 413 North gth Street facing Elm Street for
the purpose of loading and unloading material was referred to the
Traffic Division for a report later.
After allowing claims in the amount of $1,2g3.9g on proper motion
they adjourned.
