CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.
MARCH 12th, 1943.
The Board of Public Works and gafety of the City of Richmond, --
Indiana, met in the office of laid Board, Friday March 12th, 1943
at 9:00 o'clock A. M. S. W. Hodgin , Earl Keisker and Winfield Urban
being present the following proceedings were had to+ wit;
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
On the recommendation of Fire Chief fiarry Wil cams the Board
approved the appointment of Fred Klotz as a temporary Fireman to
fill the vacancy created by the induce-on of Charles Bostick , in the
armed forces of the United States Army® It is understood that Mr.
Klotz -is to have the first regular vacancy that occurs , providing
he -passes the medical exar'nination, he to serve the usual probationary
period of six months at a sum of $160.00 per month9 effective March
16th, 1943.
On the recommendation of Fire Chief Harry Williams the Board
approved the temporary appointment of Malvern Price as City Fireman
to fill the vacancy created by the induction of Rolf Wadman in the armed
forces of the United States Army he to -serve`•the usual probationary
period of six months for the sum of $160.00 per month, effective April
i st, 19)3.
After allowing claims in the amount of $ 5� � 4,,12 on proper
motion they adjourned.
