FRIDAY, JANU[JARY 29th,1943
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in the office of said Berard Friday, January. 29th,
1943, at 9:00 o 'clock A. M. Messrs.. S. W. Hod'gin. , Earl Keisker
and Winfield Urban being present the following proceedings were
had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceding meeting were teed and approved.
On the recommendation of Police Chief Ellis Duckett the Board
approved that a two hour parking zone be established in the 100
block on Ft. Wayne Avenue subject to the approval of the State
Highway Commission.
On the recommendation of the Traffic Division the Board re-
jested the reoue^t of the Roland Swisher Co. for a parkingspace for
the.use ,of their..tracks,: and designate as such on Elm Street
in the rear entrance of their place of business.
After allowing claims in the amount of $287.61 on proper mo-
tion they adjourned.
