M. Winfield Urban, S. W. Hodgin and Earl Keisker being present, the .follwibng proceedings were had to-wit; The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved. The Board approved a contract with the Standard Oil Company for the furnishing of Oil for the use of the Disposal Plant, and authorized Mr. Ross Superintendenk to sign the same, for a period of one year beginning January 1st, 1943. A report from the Travelers Insurance Co. on the inspection of Boilers in the various departments of the City and the Light Plant was presented to the Board? to filed in the office of the City Clerk. A letter was presenter) to the Board from the Goodrich Silver- town Stores located at No:t19'"'Sbuth:'9th Street requesting a No Parking Zone be established in front of their store and the curb painted yellow for the reason that they have been designated as an official Tire Inspection Station by the Wayne County War.and Price.rationing Board, and they{>do- not have sufficient clarence to get trucks on the inside of their premises to make the necessary inspection.
