HomeMy Public PortalAbout11-27-1942 45 OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF tp$KS CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, FRIDAY, NOBEMBER 27TH, 1942. The Board of Public Works and. Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board, Friday, November 27th, 1942, at 9;00 osclock A. M. Winfield Urban, S. W. Hodgin and Earl Keisker being present the following proceedings were had to-wit; The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved. Mrs. Eva Keller appeared before the Board in regard to Sanitary conditions on property adjoining her which is located alr S09 North 17th St. A letter was presented to the Board from Miss Lillian Sfoffer located at South 7th and A Streets, in regard to overtime parking conditions created by the' Dare Busses , the matter being referred to the Traffic Division for a report later. The Board unanimously approved a bid for the furnishing of window blinds for the Council Chamber and Controllers Office , from the Lawler Co. for the sum of $1.79 per blind. Attention was called to the Board of the regular Board meetings in December 25th' 'January 1st falling on Xmas and Newyears Day respect- ively and the Board unanimously resolved that the said megular meetings shall be held on the 24th day of December, 1942, and the 31st day of December 1942 , respectively. Mr. Edd Ross Superintendent of the Disposal Plant recommended that the Ton Electric Hoist be included in Machinery Insurance Policy whish was approved. The Street Deaprtment was instructed to proceed with the necessary repairs for the Garden Avenue Sewer which had caveeinderthe peoperty of E. K.
