HomeMy Public PortalAbout11-06-1942 342 OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF WORKS CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA$ FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH, 1942, - The Board of Public Works and Safety of the CityIof Richmond, ' Indiana, met in the office of said Board, Friday, November 6th, 1942 at 9:00 odclock A. 1M, Messrs, Winfield Urban, S. Wm Hodgin and Earl Keisker being present the following proceedings were had to-wit; The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved. A report from the Police Department was presented to the Board in regard to damages caused to an automobile tire by a Water Main Cap located on #27 lk blocks in side the City Limit® the matter having been referred to the City Water Works -Corporation. The lady which owned the car involved in the damages was Mrs, Mildred D. Vohland of Clarksburg, Indiana© The matter of purchasing t,ansmitters for the police cars was taken under further advisement. • The Board unanimously approved a leave of absence from the City Fire Department to Charles Bostick who will enter the armed services of the United States Government , effective November 16th, 1942. A letter was presented to the Board dated Notenber 4.th 19k2 calling attention to the klpplicationhmade'by--thelIndiana -Railroad Coto Chamge the name of of the Indiana Railroad to the Wesson Co•,application filed with Secretary `of. State=and-approved Octeber4Oth,"-194 also that Harold Co Mull had been emplcyed'to?look after the interest as to legal matters of the Wesson Company.
