The Board of Public Works. and Safety of the City of Richmond, .
Indiana, - met in the office of said Board , Friday , July 31st,
1942, at 9:00 o 'clock A. M. Messrs. Winfield Urban & S. •W. -Hodgin
• being present the following.proceedings were had to-wit;
• The minutes of the preceding were read and approved.
•
The matter, of more bycycle racks being placed or Seni.th;,:'ieventh
Street on the East Side of the Street from Main Street South as
recommended by the Chief of Police was. referred to Mr. Hodgin &
Mr. Meyers for consideration.
City Engineer Hodgin presented plans for the opening of. an
Alley bettieex. Southwest 17th.Streets and Easthaven Avenue which
is requested by Mrs.Wright a property owner in that location, the
same being referred to Mr. Hodgin.

The clerk was instructed to notify both Rail Road Companies
which have tracks running through the city 'to repair certain-cross-
ings which have been reported in bad condition.
After allowing claims in the amount of $1,505.91 on proper
motion they adjourned. •
