MONDAY, JUNE 29TH„, 194+2.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond;
Indiana, met in the office of said Beard, Monday, June 29th, 194+2
at 1:30 P. M. in-aSPECIAL SESSION , Winfield Urban, S. W. Hodgin
and Earl Keisker being present the following proceedings were had to-
wit;
The reading of the minutes of the receding meeting was dis-
pensed with.
On .the recommendation of Police Chief Ellis Duckett the Board
approved the transfer of Milo Brann -from the Police Radio Department
to the City Police Department providing he pass the physical examina-
tion reauired,for the usual probationary period of 6months, for the
sum of $145.00 per month, effective July 1st, 1942. -
On the recommendation of the Police Chief, Ellis Duckett the
Board approved the appointment of Glenn Fisher temporarly,as Police
Radio Operator, providing a vacancy exists at a salary of $115.00
per month.
The Board »nanimously approved a contract with the State Highway
Department for the installation of a Traffic Light to be installed at
North 5th and A Streets , material be furnished- by the State Highway
Department the same to be installed by the Municipal Light Plant employes,
the Highway Department to be billed for labor and any added material
used in such installation, labor ranging from .6o cents per. hour to
$1.15 per. hour for Blectricians,all material added be furnished at
list price.
There being no other business to preform on proper motion they
adjourned.
