The Board of Publac Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board,,Friday, November 28th, 1941, at 9:00 o°clock A. M. S. W. Hodgin, Winfield Urban, and Earl Keisker being present the following proceedings were had to-wit; The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. A letter was presented to the Board from the international Harvester Co. stating they were taking the necessary steps to prevent any further trouble with oil going into the sanita.'y sewer. On the recommendation of Police Chief Duckett the Board approved a parking zone for a Taxi Cab Stand operated by the Royal Cab Co. No. 22 South 6th Street in the amount of 35 feet. On the recommendation of the Tarffic Division the Board est- ablished a parking zone in front of the Railway Express Agency No. 20 North 9th Street in the amount of 30 feet from the hours of g A. M. to 5 P. M. all day except Sundays and Holidays. A request to cut the curb was granted to August Cloyevaar 1224 South I Street Part of Lot 14, Cleavers Out Lots between South 10th and llth Sts. The Street Department reported the curbs had been painted subject to the approval of the Traffic Division at the intersec- tion of North 5th and D Streets, After allowing claims in the amount of $ 9 9 . 6 9' on proper motion they adjourned. resident Attest; Clerk of the B rd.
