CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA,
FRIDAY , OCTOBER 10TH,1941 °
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
of Richmond , Indiana, met in the office of said Board,
Friday, -October loth, 1941 , at 9000 o ' clock A. M.
Messrs. S. W. Hodgin, Winfield. Urban and Earl Keisker
-being present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and
approved. -
Mr. Ramsey ffeDonald who is in charge of the Police
. .Radio Station presented. ra. .report to the Board regarding
his trip to Evansville tttencling the A. P. C. 0; Conven-
tion.
City Attorney Keisker reported it was not necessary
for the Garbage Collection Department to collect any-
thing but usual garPage0
The matter of speeding on the National road west
and. Northwest 5th Street by motorist coming in to the
City was discussed and Mr. Hodgin stated' thatunless the
State Road signs were, changed from 40 miles per hour to
30 miles per on streets entering into the City it would
be difficult to slow down the speed of motorists, the
same being referred to the Traffic Divisions
After allowing claims in the amount of $,3,924°19
on proper motion they adjourned.
