Waybe Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk All members present. Minutes of the previous meeting of December 6. 1966 read. Moved by Harold Winterhalter that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Notion carried. Minutes of Planning Commission meeting of December 19, 1966 read. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ekdahl appeared with regard to getting information for a boarding kennel. They were advised to ;et lefi ne pieces of property in mind and them appear before the Planning Commission. Robert Scott and Dexter Hbpf appeared with regard to final approval of the division of the Hopf property. Moved by Arthur Theis to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign the Hard Shell for the Dexter Hopf registered land survey. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Motion carried. Application for Cigarette licenses for the year 1967 were submitted for the following: Frank and Laura Molitor of Frank and Laura's Inc., Joseph Ras#ob of Medina Recreations, Inc., Fred Glampe of Glampe's Resort and Cafe, Ken Johnson of Ken's Liquors and Ray Schmid of Schmid's Grocery. Moved by Raymond Bosch that we grant Cigarette license to the five above named applica0d for the year 1967. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter. Motion carried. Moved by Harold Winterhalter jao grant Mrs. Boyer a sanitary landfill license for the year 1967. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson. Motion carried. Moved by Raymond Bosch to grant the Jeff -Jon Robb A musement Company, Inc. a license for 1967 for the Outdoor Theater. Seconded by Arthur Theis. Motion carried. Moved by Raymond Bosch to authorize the Clerk to return the $650.00 Certificate of Depisit to Medina-Morningside, Inc., Seconded by Arthur Theis. Motion carried. Appointments: acting Moved by Arthur Theis that Harold Winterhaltee be appointed/ mayor in the absence of mayor. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Motion carried. 25 Moved by Harold Winterhalter that the Minnetonka Herald be designated official newspaper. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson. Motion carried. Moved by Arthur Theis to designate the Farmers State Bank of Hansel as official depository. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter. Motion carried. Moved by Harold W interhalter to appoint William Scherer village hall custodian. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Motion carried. Moved by Arthur Theis to appoint Raymond Bosch chief of police. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to appoint Wayne Neddermeyer as delegate to the Hennepin County League of Municipalities. Seconded by Arthur Theis. Motion carried. Moved by Harol d Winterhalter to appoint Raymond Bosch as alternate delegate to the Hennepin County League of Municipalities. Seconded by Arthur Theis. Motion carried. 26 Moved by Raymond Bosch to table the appointment of an auditor until the February meeting. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson. Motion carried. Moved by Rayburn Anderson that the building inspector be bonded and the fee be paid by the village. Seconded by Arthur Theis. Motion carried. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to increase the hourly rate for labor to $2.251 Seconded by Arthur Theis. Motion carried. Moved by Raymond Bosch that we leave the rates for other services the same as last year as follows: $3.00 an hour for road supervisor. !4' 2.00 an hour for tractor. 1.50 an hour for mower .001 2.50 an hour for weed inspector. y 100 a mile for truck and 7i¢ mile on personal car when authorized. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson. Motion carried. Moved by Raymond Bosch to leave the police officials' salaries the same; namely $500.00 a month for 0rlo Eisinger and $2.25 an hour for part time help. Seconded by Harold W interhalter. Motion carried. Moved by Harold WINTerhalter that we set the attorneys retainer fee at $50.00 per month, the same as labt ye4r. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Motion carried. Harold Winterhalter reported on the Minnehaha Creek Watershed meeting which he attended. Moved by Arthur Theis to pay the bills as follows: payroll checks in the amount of $977..00 and order checks in the amount of $3439.20. Seconded by Harold W interhalter. Motion carried.
