Ric' mond, Indiana, met in the office of said 'Board, -
Friday, Lerch 7th, 1941, at 9 :00 P. M. _;.-essrs Simeon .`1.

the following -proceedings were had to-wit ;
The minutes of the p_'eceeding meeting were read
and approved. -
The Board 11.nnroved the installation of 25 new Fire .
hydrants which had been previously arranged for in the
1941 budget, the same to be at loc :tions designated by
the Fire Chief, Harry l'i11ie eis . .

A discussion was had in regard to the advisability
of :i_nstallinr: sidewalks on the east side of TTorthwest
5th Street from Pichriond Avenue to Northwest L Street ,
on the account of School C ildr e-_ and others ing to
walk in the street living in that locality, the matter
was referred - to the City Sngineer for plans and estimate
for the same.

The Board aroroved the rer_uest .
Charles C. Bunt' eeeuested permission to cut some old
trees in front of his residence and replace same with
• ypung trees, the matter was referred to the Building
inspector and the Park Superintendent .
A request was presented for the installation of a
Traffic Light at 'North 12th and B Streets , the same
being referred to the Traffic Division. After saai
discs ss .on about other request for 'traffic Lights at
various locations the Board suggested that a survey
• be made by the Traffic Division and a report be made
at a later date. '
The Board ordered a Stop Sign installed on the North
Side of . Nay^wins Road near the intersection of North 19th
Street.

investiMate the services of another orer,tor for
the ^olice Radio as one of the present operators
expects to be called into U. S. service soon.
