FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14TH, 1941.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board
Fr'day, February 14th , 1941, at9 :00 P. M. 1Jessrs .
Simeon W. Hodgin, Winfield Urban and Earl Yeisker
being Present the following rroceedin��,s were had to
wit ;
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read
and an )roved ; .
The Board ordered the purchase of 300 feet of fl-
ushing; hose for the use of the Street Department the
same to be purchased fro.,? the Richmond Industrial
Supply Co . for the sum of . 78 cents per foot in -
eluding regular couplings .
The Board approved a contract with t.ha lest Dis-
infect Company for furnishing disinfectant supplies
in the various parks of the City.
The Street Commissioner was instructed to purchase ,�
the necessary Traffic signes Pursuant to the law re-
ouired .
The City -attorney was instructed to investigate
the Powers of the Board in regard to the removal of
awning posts on the side walk in front of the Temper
Bldg•.on Tort Wayne Ave.
A petition Was presented to the Board -from Russell
'Taylor recuesting a position a.s ..i ark Patrolman, the
matter was taken under advisement .
After allowing claims in the amount of 57 , 682 .10
on Proper motion they adjourned, .
