OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF WORKS
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FRIDAY, DE CEIV ER 13TH,1940.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board,
Friday, December; 13, 1940, at 9 :00 ,A. M. Messrs. John
R. Britten, Simeon W. Hodgin and Henry U. Johnson
being present the following proceedings were had to-wit ;
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and
approved.
A petition was presented to the Board by Don L. Ozbun
and signed by six interested citizens requesting that
a parking limit of one hour be established between 8th &
9th Streets on North E. Street between the hours of 6 A.M.
and 6 P.M. the same being referred to the Traffic Depart-
ment for a later report®
The Board authorized the permanent appointment of
James Irortwright as City Fireman, he to receive a
Captains rating®
After allowing claims. in the amount of y�l,329 .41 on
proper motion they adjourned.
