OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF WORKS
CITY OF RICHrMOND, INDIANA,
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 1940.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board,
Friday, November 1, 1940 at 9 :00 A. M. Messrs ; John
R. Britten, Simeon W. Hodgin and Henry U. Johnson \.
being present the following proceedings were had to-wit ; ;-
The reading of the minutes of the preceeding meeting
was dispensed with.
The Board approved the installation of a 6in. Water
Main on Northwest 16th Street from Main to Northwest B,
the same having been referred to and approved by the
Richmond Water Works Corp. A Fire hydrant is to be in
stalled according to location recommended by the Fire
Chief.
A request for a Boulevard Light to be installed at
, North 14th,' and E Streets was approved.
A petition was presented with the signatures of 29
interested citizens requesting a Traffic Stop Light be
installed at 12th and North E Streets , the same being
referred to the 'Traffic Division for a report.
A request was presented signed by 0. F. McKee Sect.
to the Glen Miller Stock Yards Co. requesting an Arc
Light be installed 1 block north- of the intersection
of Glen Court and North 24th. Street, the Board approved
the request.

After allowing claims in the amount of $1836. 54
on proper motion they adjourned.
