The Board -of Public Works ' and Safety of the City of 'Richmond, Indiana, met in the office ofisaid Board, Friday, October 18, 1940, at 9 :00 A. M. Messrs. John R. Britten, Simeon W. Hodgin and Henry U. Johnson being present the following proceedings were had to-wit ; The reading of the minutes of the . preceeding meeting was dispensed with. The board rejected a request for a Safety Parking Zone to be established in front of the Coca Cola Bot- tling Co . , located at 116 West Main Street. AN AGREEMENT by and between the licencees of the • Municipal Radio .Station of Richmond,. Indiana, and the City of Oak-wood Montgomery County, Dayton Ohio, was approved as follows; WITNESSETH: That whereas the Federal Communications s; Commission rer-uires all applicants for construction permits and for station license in the Emergency Service, using freauericies above 30,000 kilocycles, to have attached to the application for such license, a statement to the effect that an agreement has been made with surrounding licencees concerning the assignment and the use of alloted Frequencies , and Whereas, Such an agreement has been made by the above mentioned licencees agree as follows ; That the allotted frer-uency of 33,600 kilocycles be used for the Municipal Police and Emergency Mobile Service and fixed Station, by the City of Oakwood, Montgomery County, Ohio, and kilocycles be used for Municipal Police and Emergehcy Mobile Service and fixed station at and the mobile units now operating there. It is further agreed, that should any interference arise from this arrangement , conditions existing at this time will be amicably adjusted by the licencees to the satisfact- ion of all concerned.
