The loard of Public Works and Safety of the City
of. Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board
Friday, October llth, .1940. ht 9 :00 A. M. Messrs
John R. Britten, Simeon W. Ecdgin and Henry U. Johnson
being present the following proceedings were had to=wit;
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting
was dispensed with.
Mr. Nichols and' Mr. Jenkins were present in the in-
terest of traffic near the A & P store at South -8th,
and B Streets.
A petition was presented from the Richmond Coca Cola
Bottling Company -requesting a Safety Zone be established
along the Curb in front of their palce of business located
at 110 West Main St . , the petition was signed' by Mr. Elmer
A. Weisbrod; This being referred to the Traffic Division.
A request for .,.•a .restricted parking zone in front of
Dr. Mitchell's Office located at 29 South 12th. Street
was referredto the Traffic Division.
A request to cut the curb was granted to W. B. Zutter-
meister to a width of ten feet, located at 317 South 23rd.
Street.
A request to cut the curb was granted to Howard Roberts
South 23rd. Street Reeveston View Addition.,
A letter was presented from the Richmond Fire and Cas-
ualty Insurance Association as follows ;
In accordance with the agreement of your body with the
Richmond Fire and Casualty Insurance Association I attach,, ;
herewith a report of the distribution of commissions made
in September. These commissions were derived from Civil
City and Light Plant Insurance. , most of which was written
in dilly. .
If ther might be any question concerning this distribution
we will be happy to discuss it with your Board.
