OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF WORKS
CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FRIDAY, AUGUST 30th, 1940.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board
Friday, August 30th, 1940, at 9 :00 o ' clock A. M. Messrs.
John R. Britten and Henry U. Johnson being present the
following proceedings were had to-wit;
The reading of the minutes of the proceeding meeting I/
was dispensed with.
A petition was presented by the Dixon Lumber Co. 1st.
and Main Street requesting the installation of a Water
Main on Northwest C Street from Northwest 8th, Street
to Northwest 10 Street, the matter being reffered to
the Richmond Water Works Corporation for their consider-
ation.
The Clerk was instructed to notify the Pennsylvania
Rail-road of the bad condition of their crossings at
the street intersections, and request that they repair
the sane.
After allowing claims in the amount of $3,421.66
they adjourned.
