The board of Public Works and Safety of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said Board•
Friday August 2nd, . 1940, at 9 :00 o ' clock A. VI. Messrs.
John R. Britten, Simeon W. Hodgin and Henry U. Johnson
being present• the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and
approved.
The Street bept.was ordered to dis-continue flushing
private sewers unless it was nesessary to do so .
Water meters located in DavisPark and in City property
located at, the west end of the Doran Bridge was ordered re-
moved, the same to be located in Clear Creek Park.
Fiftg disc Traffic Signs were ordered to be purchased
by the Street Department, the same to be located in places
designated by the Traffic Division.
Action was deferred on the request for the installation
of a light. a-t the alley intersection on North D Street
between lath 8c ..14th Streets.
After allowing claims in the amount of $12,726.75
they adjourned.
