A letter was presented to the Board from W. C. Shoe-
maker Supt. of the Richmond Water Works Corp. as follows
On June 12th there was presented to your Board a petition
from property owners on Gardner Street, requesting the in- ,
stallation of a water main.
Although there are ten names on the petit-ion, we find
there are only six houses in the block, three of which
are already served with water from Harris Street . We,
therefore do not think a six-inch water main wouldbe
justified.
However if you care to so advise the petitioner9,
this Company will be glad to work with them toward the
installation of a smaller main.
