The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in the office of said
Board, Friday, April 5th, 1940, at 9 :00 A. Y. Messrs'..
John R. Britten Simeon Hodgin and Henry U. Johnson
being present the following proceedings were had to-
wit ;
The minutes of the predeeding meeting were read and
approved.
Mrs Ira Reed 1615 'South. 3rd Street was present re-
questing the extension of a Storm Sewer across their lot .
The matter was referred to the City Engineer Hodgin and
the Board of Health.
A request to cut the Curb and widen the drive way at
2323 East Main Street was granted to W. H. Herzler.
The Superintendent of parks wcs instructed to pre-
pare the ground and sow grass seed in Clear Creek Park.
Fire Chief Harry Williams was instructed to purchase
as many valves for the fire engin pump as was necessary.
After allowing claims to the amount of $26,749. 65
they adjourned.
